Seven-year-old Layla Crawford is an upcoming actress who began her career at the age of four after doing her first recital for Debbie Allen Dance Academy. Since then, Layla has booked CBS’ NCIS Los Angeles, a Fox pilot entitled “Let It Go,” and numerous national commercials for AT&T, BMW, Nike, Samsung and more. She also filmed a romantic-drama with Christian Keyes and Brian McKnight entitled Note to Self. The movie is due out in December.
Layla will soon have a series regular role as Olivia Johnson on Byron Allen’s new syndicated show The First Family with Kylin Rhambo, Yara Shahidi, Sayeed Shahidi, Christopher B. Duncan, Kellita Smith, Gladys Knight, John Witherspoon, Marla Gibbs and Jackee Harry. The show is set to make its premiere on television this Fall.
